Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Caretaker
Location: Wilmslow, East Cheshire
Salary: £12.15 to £13.14 per hour depending on skills and experience

Hours: PART TIME 20 hours per week, Term time only, Monday to Friday 14.00pm - 18.00pm

We are currently seeking a part time Maintenance Technician / Caretaker to join a brand new specialist school opening in Wilmslow in the new year!

The role:

As Maintenance technician / Caretaker your role will have an emphasis n Health & Safety relevant to the premises ensuring that the building and grounds are continually fit for purpose for students and staff to enable them to fulfil their roles. This job involves various duties to include carrying out general maintenance, and repairs to the building, and planned maintenance. This will require a high level of attention to detail to maintain the high standards of the school and any associated school property.

Experience /Qualifications:

  • Experience working within an educational setting is desirable, although not essential.
  • General maintenance knowledge, basic tasks related to joinery and plumbing.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations
  • Understanding of hot & cold water systems
  • Knowledge of good working trade practices.
