Part time Bookkeeper/ Payroll Assistant

My client is looking for a part time Bookkeeper/ Payroll Assistant to join their team.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing client payments
  • Assisting with Year End Annual Tax accounts
  • Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll
  • Submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping
  • Processing client invoices
  • Credit control duties
  • Working closely with HMRC
  • Completion of internal and external audits
  • Communicating with clients
  • Adhoc duties as and when required

Desirable qualities:

  • Good at problem solving
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Advance knowledge with Excel
  • You must have your own transport/ UK drivers license due to the rural location
  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C or equivalent

Job information:

  • 08:30-17:00, 3 or 4 days a week depending on your preference
  • Company pension
  • £12.44 per hour
  • On site parking
  • Paid lunch break
  • Fully office based (hybrid working is not possible with this role)
