Reed Accountancy are supporting a rapidly expanding independent business operations consultancy seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be part of a team that delivers sustainable customised solutions to some of the best-known names in the UK. This role involves general accounting responsibilities and offers a chance to develop professionally.

Working for 25 hours per week within a fully office based role, the team are happy for these hours to be worked however best suits you, whether this be 5 shorter days or perhaps 3 to 4 longer days.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Check, input, and process supplier bills and employee expenses.
  • Manage client invoicing and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Handle HMRC reporting including VAT, P60s, P45s, P11Ds, and other statutory requirements.
  • Administer the company’s pension and private health care schemes.
  • Run payroll, with extensive training provided to ensure proficiency.

The role would be best suited to someone who has a fundamental understanding of payroll and has worked within accounts before. Experience of Quickbooks would be beneficial but is not essential, alongside proficiency in Excel.

The office is located a short walk from the main Theale train station and offers free onsite parking and close to local amenities.
