Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a part-time (4 days) or full-time Contract basis. This post will be for at least 6 months and there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent. This will suita a candidate who has cerdit control and purchase ledger experience.

Main duties:

Contacting customers via phone and email to chase debt
Reducing aged debt and minimising legal/bad debts
Risk Assessing new credit account applications and making credit judgements
Reviewing credit limits and setting limits within company guidelines
Dealing with credit control queries
Maintaining and reconciling a high volume of accounts
Producing invoices, statements, and chase letters

Requirements:

Credit control experience
Proficient user of Excel
Xero experience would be preferred
Strong communication skills
Team player
