We are supporting a well established Research company with a well established client base in the Management Consulting space as they look to bring onboard a Part-time Accountant (2-4 days per week).

You will support the FD by managing the sales and purchases ledgers including preparation and processing of invoices, credit control, MIS analysis and internal system and control improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Book-keeping including data entry, cost and revenue analysis
  • Support identification and implementation of automation within the finance function
  • Analysis of product profitability
  • Produce and issue sales invoices
  • Manage the debtor portfolio to minimise aged debt
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Prepare schedules for invoice payment
  • Process expenses claims using Autoentry
  • Support identification and implementation of automation within the finance function
  • Support development of product profitability analysis

Requirements

  • Good technical accounting knowledge: Accountancy qualification - AAT4, qualified ACCA or CIMA or equivalent:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A high-level of presenting skills and interpretation of financial information.
  • Competent in managing financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
  • The ability to produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
  • The ability to use main accounting and office software packages competently, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Sage 50 Accounts, Autoentry

Salary for this role is £55-60k pro rata
