Our client, a rapidly growing medical diagnostics organisation is currently looking for an Qualified Accountant to join their innovative team in Reading on a part time, permanent basis.

Working closely with the finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with financial analysis. Your expertise will help drive strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  • Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Conducting regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives
  • Assisting with audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with relevant professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Sage 200
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
