Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Part Qualified Management Accountant for a rapidly growing marketing services agency on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office per week) and paying £40-50k per annum- pro rata/

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and posting monthly balance sheet journal
  • Accurate accruals and deferrals of costs and revenue
  • A consistent and compliant revenue recognition policy
  • Payroll, accrual, deferral, and prepayment journals
  • Fixed Asset Register maintenance
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and trial balance reports.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentaries for board.
  • Preparation of Profit and Losses.
  • Assist with preparation of annual forecasts
  • Project cost reporting / Job cost report preparation.
  • Analysing data and assisting te FD with providing additional management and strategic information to the business.
  • Seeking to find areas for improvement and streamlining.
  • Cashflow management, including weekly cashflow preparation.

Applicants must have's:

  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA studier
  • A minimum of 3 years expereince in a management accounts role ideally within marketing services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Pro-active and solutions focused attitude
  • Ambitious and looking to learn and progress
