Konker is currently recruiting for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a RIBA practice based in rural Somerset/Exmoor.  

Due to a variety of new projects coming into the practice, they are seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant who is confident working across all RIBA Stages to join them.

This practice of 6 has recently become employee-owned, giving you extra benefits as an employee within the business, including a tax-free bonus, subject to profit/personal performance.

They work on a wide variety of projects across Devon & Somerset including barn conversions, bespoke new builds, listed & historic buildings plus much more.

They will provide mentoring/support for your Part 3 too.

The Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Working across all RIBA Stages
  • Using Vectorworks (Training Given)
  • Liasing with clients and different stakeholders
  • Project Management & Contract Administration
  • Helping other colleagues in the office
Salary for this Part 2 Architectural Assistant position is between £26,000-£35,000 depending on previous experience.

To Be Considered:- Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • - Live within a commutable distance of Exmoor / Somerset
  • - Driver license & car owner
  • - Hold a Master of Architecture / MArch or relevant qualification
  • - Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations & UK Planning System
  • - Previous experience using Vectorworks is advantageous
