Parking Enforcement Officer

Our Public Sector client is looking for a Parking Enforcement Officer.

No previous experience necessary.

Main duties and Responsibilities :

Issue penalty charge notices to any vehicle parked against restriction and record verbal warnings issued to motorists

Report any defects with signs or lines.

A willingness to work outside in all weathers and the ability to walk 10 miles per shift

Ensure parking equipment is working correctly and report defects promptly

Act as ambassadors for the Council, undertaking any others tasks as directed

Previous customer service experience in a demanding environment such as a hospitality or call centre environment (desirable), civil enforcement/ parking or a security environment.

The ability to follow instructions and to work within a closely managed operation

The ability to remain calm during conflict and tense situations, and a polite, credible and confident approach when dealing with members of the public.
