Job Title: Paraplanner

Salary: £30,000 - £42,000

Location: Milton Keynes

A fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Independent Financial Planning firm that are based in Milton Keynes on a opportunity for a Paraplanner to join their team. This firm has a strong reputation in the industry, providing advice on Pensions, Investments, and Corporate Advice.

With a technical back-office team, this role would suit someone who is diploma qualified and wishes to test their technical knowledge within an established financial planning firm. They pride themselves on being fully independent and providing holistic bespoke financial advice.

This would sit within the paraplanning team and responsibilities would involve suitability report writing, cash flow modelling, researching products/funds and general assistance to advisers when formulating the advice for their longstanding clients.

They promote internal progression within the firm, with opportunities to progress into advice or team management in the future. These routes are all openly discussed which will give you a clear idea of your industry progression.

The Required Skills:

• Level 4 Diploma qualified, with progress towards advanced diploma.
• Experience of providing paraplanning support within a financial planning / wealth management firm previously.
• Good communication skills and comfortable dealing with clients face to face, on the phone and through written correspondence.
• Strong technical knowledge, particularly around pensions and investments, along with a desire to continue developing this.
• Good understanding of the FCA and how a Financial services firm operates.
