My client is a directly authorised Financial Advisory firm based in Wakefield, providing sound Financial Advice to both individuals and businesses surrounding Investments, Pensions, Mortgages, Protection and Estate Planning.

Due to team members being promoted to Financial Advisers, we are urgently in need of 2 Paraplanners to join the existing Paraplanning team. The role of a paraplanner at the firm is quite report and research orientated, focusing on the more 'technical’ aspects of the job. They have separate administration teams for processing new business and dealing with wider administrative tasks.

The role would be suitable for a career focused Paraplanner, a Paraplanner looking to move into Advice in the future, someone looking to develop a further career within Training & Competence or Compliance or someone considering a role within Investment Portfolio Management.

We are ideally seeking full Level 4 Diploma qualified candidate (CII preferred), with 1+ years experience in a Paraplanning role for an Independent Advisory firm, the ability to deal with all aspects of financial advice (pensions, investments, protection, IHT and wider tax planning etc). It would be to your advantage if you are wanting to continue studies to Level 6 Chartered qualification, or if you have experience with Intelligent Office and / or experience with platforms such as Aegon, Aviva and Quilter and if you've had previous exposure to DFM solutions.

Hybrid working structure with a 50/50 split of time on site and WFH
