Paraplanner - Surrey - £40K - £50K

Our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner who is organised, result driven to join their team. If you have the paraplanning experience and are CII Level 4 Diploma Qualified or equivalent required for this role, this could be the role for you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing analysis of client's existing portfolio.
  • Provision of technical support to Advisers.
  • Completing calculations (i.e., income tax, IHT, Capital Gains Tax, Lifetime Allowance, Pension Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Chargeable Gains, Cashflow Modelling etc.).
  • Working closely with the Adviser to research and formulate appropriate advice.
  • Preparation of Recommendation Reports and supplementary documentation.
  • Adherence to compliance procedures, core values and high standards of client service.
  • Regular liaison with product providers, account managers and clients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets to meet regulatory requirements and personal development need.

Skills and experience

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on turning complex financial data into actionable, client-friendly solutions.

  • You have previous experience of working within an Independent Financial Adviser practice.
  • You are organised & methodical.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • You are organised and able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • You have effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • You thrive working as part of a team.
  • You have strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.

What’s needed to be considered?

To be considered for this unique paraplanner opportunity, candidates need to have:

  • Comfortable producing technical Suitability reports
  • level 4 diploma qualified (CII / CISI / LIBF)
  • High level of analytical capability and good communication skills (Client facing skills)

This role will be office-based during your probationary period but after this, you will have the opportunity to work hybrid.
