Position: Paraplanner

Location: Horsham, West Sussex (up to 2 days per week working from home)

Minimum Requirements: Level 4 qualification (experienced Paraplanner candidates) OR willingness to study for the Level 4 qualification (trainee Paraplanner candidates)

Salary/package: £30,000-£45,000 (depending on experience) + 22 days' annual leave (rising to 25) + pension + study support + DIS + various other benefits

YOUR NEW COMPANY

Our client is a well-established, award-winning boutique IFA firm which is part of a very successful UK-wide network. The company has significant plans to grow over the next 12 months and has just started the search for a Paraplanner (trainee or experienced) to join its rapidly-expanding Administration team. The role can allow for up to 2 days per week working from home.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the firm’s Paraplanner Manager, the Paraplanners’ key duties will include:

  • Undertaking research to reach conclusions and recommendations for clients
  • Preparation of suitability letters
  • Involvement in the company’s research processes including platform due diligence
  • Handling some client correspondence on behalf of the Financial Advisers
  • Working alongside the Financial Advisers on advice strategies
  • Using Intelligent Office as a back office system

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates interested in the Paraplanner vacancy will have the following criteria:

  • Ideally at least 6 months’ experience as a Trainee Paraplanner OR 2 years + experience as an established Paraplanner
  • Possess a Level 4 qualification OR happy to study for the Level 4 qualification
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Experience of Intelligent Office a bonus
  • Live a commutable distance from Horsham

REMUNERATION / PACKAGE

The package for the Paraplanner role is as follows:

  • Salary of between £30,000 and £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • 22 days’ annual leave (increasing 1 day per year until reaching 25 days)

  • Up to 2 days per week WFH after completing probation
