My client are an independent wealth planning firm in Sutton who offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. The business manages over £200m of assets across pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections (both personal and business) and some esoteric schemes such as VTC & EIS schemes. Many of their clients have been with them for many years and so they have a big emphasis on intergenerational wealth planning and work with every level of a family to ensure their financial legacy is kept in tact. They are a very community orientated team and get involved in lots of local events and support the wider community.

The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Paraplanner to be based in the Sutton office supporting 2 Chartered Financial Advisers. You will occasionally attend meetings with the Advisers and be their "go-to-person" for report writing. They are looking for a Career Paraplanner or at least a candidate who doesn't aspire to be an adviser for a number of years. You must be diploma qualified and be experienced across research, analysis, suitability report/letter wiring and all preparatory work before the Advisers meet their clients. Cultural fit will be vital for my client so a good attitude, a willingness to learn and contribute to a growing business will be key.

Salary: £40k - £45k (possibly more for the right candidate)
