Paraplanner (Remote)

Paraplanner - Level 4 (RO1-RO6) essential

Salary: £36k - £38,500k + bonus + great benefit package

Location: Horsham (Fully remote if required but will need to come into the office for the 1st week and then come into the office every 3 months)

Hours: Mon-Fri - 9am - 5pm

Have you got a proven paraplanning background or are looking to progress into a paraplanning role and have a proven knowledge within financial services with a great understanding of the sales process and how advice is provided to clients within a regulated driven business?

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and product support to the consultants throughout the sales process.
• Initial assessment of the case on receipt to ensure all the required information is present.
• Research suitable products based on the client’s requirements and needs to allow the adviser to make recommendations.
• Provide the adviser with evidence of research using the company’s software.
• Obtain personal illustrations, key feature documents, application forms and any other information that is required to assist in the sign up of business.
• Prepare the draft recommendation report for sign off by the financial adviser.
• Record all administration regarding letters of authority, location, and research requests.
• Ensure full FCA compliance is adhered to.
• Assist network members with technical and product queries.
• Prepare ongoing service reports for advisers.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

• Proven financial services background within paraplanning.
• Level 4 qualified and qualified for at least 18 months (RO1-RO6) essential or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of research software, inclusive of Capita Fusion, Financial Express Analytics and O&M.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience of using Intelligent office, however this is not a necessity.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
