This role offers a great opportunity to work on complex wealth management projects and portfolios for a number of high profile, wealthy private wealth management clients, which include many high profile sports personalities and professionals. Our client is a professional Financial Advice firm with over 30 years experience in handling wealth portfolios of ultra-high net worth individuals with assets under management ranging from £2m up to £100m+, and who appreciate the close relationship offered by this IFA practice. As a paraplanner, your work would consist of reporting on portfolio performance, analysing market offerings, services and products, and administering and actioning any advice given by the advisor that you will be supporting. Advice will cover pensions, investments, tax planning, IHT, mortgages and some protections to clients across the London and home counties region. They also offer advice on Wills, Trusts and Estate planning to help with inter-generational planning.

You will gain exposure to complex and unique financial planning solutions, growing your knowledge and developing your client facing skills as you work towards a long term goal of becoming an advisor in your own right in the future.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Booking and preparing meetings with clients and producing all the required reports for that meeting.
  • Implementing and actioning wealth plans
  • Overseeing the Transferring of funds,
  • Putting together applications on behalf of the client
  • Chasing documentation
  • Ensuring all client interaction is recorded in line with compliance and regulation.
  • Attending client meetings, taking notes, explaining reports
  • Product and services research
  • Producing recommendations

Applicants for this role should have prior experience of working in a financial planning or wealth management firm, and a keen interest in the world of sport. You will be looking for a role that can see yourself progress from Paraplanner into a role of advisor over a period of years. You will be supported through your development with financial contributions towards further learning (ie your diploma in financial planning), and you will be mentored through this transition by some of the country’s leading financial advisors.
