Full Time Contract ( 6 months long)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Contract Manager in Basingstoke. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• To provide paralegal support to the Information Governance Team in dealing with Freedom of Information requests, Environmental Information requests, Data Protection Subject Access Requests and all related aspects
• To provide paralegal support to the Planning and Litigation team within Legal Services
• To carry out legal or quasi-legal tasks that may from time to time be allocated by the Team Leader and/or Legal Services Manager
• To deal with administrative matters as may from time to time be required by the Team Leader
• To ensure that service delivery complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards and the organisation's policies

The candidate:

• At least 2 years of similar experience, or a CILEx Paralegal Level 3
• SQE 1 passed and SQE 2 working towards or CILEX Advanced Paralegal qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector is preferred
