The successful Paralegal will support the department in efficiently and effectively support the file handling team with the upload of data to ensuring compliance with client KPI’s/SLA’s and maintain data integrity to allow the provision of accurate management information.

Compensation package:

Salary discussed & disclosed on application, hybrid working 1 day per week in office remainder remote working, Health Care Cash Plan, Holidays 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (opportunity to buy & sell 3 days) increasing to 26 after 5 years’ service and to 27 after 10 years’ service, Death In Service - after 1 year, Employer Pension Contribution, Cycle to Work Scheme, Tech Scheme, Season Ticket Loan*, Gym Flex

Key Accountabilities

  • Become fully competent in the use of client systems
  • Actively manage data for the purposes of validation/upload
  • Provide continual feedback to improve the process
  • Identify and resolve issues that may prevent the delivery of timely MI
  • Be aware of any GDPR compliance issues
  • Ad hoc general admin related to the closure of files.
  • Updating MI via the use of a validation tool
  • Undertake ad hoc duties to support Paralegals and Fee Earners.
  • To ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011
  • Adhere to the Keoghs Values

Working Hours
35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Compton Court, Coventry

Recruitment Criteria:
Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficient in MS Office (word and excel in particular) and experience of using a Case/Claims Management system
  • Good working knowledge of excel
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Ability to use own initiative, self-organise and self-prioritise
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to target
  • GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths
