Our Flex-E-Rent division provides commercial vehicles on flexible hire terms along with fleet solutions such as servicing, maintenance and repairs and accident management.  We are now seeking Apprentice Panel Beaters to join our exciting nationwide training scheme. One of the major advantages of our programme is that you will be given the opportunity to work on a multitude of brands including, DAF, Mercedes, MAN, Iveco, Ford and more.

You will undertake a Level 3 Vehicle Damage Panel Technician qualification over a 3 year period.  

Core Information:

Salary - £6.00 per hour in the first year, increasing in years 2 and 3 in line with skills and performance

Hours - 40 hours a week 

Location -18 Premier Way, Abbey Park Industrial Estate, Romsey, SO51 9DQ

Apprenticeship Level -Level 3 

Duration - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • To produce quality work within Thatcham guidelines on cars, LCV's and HGV's.
  • Perform preventative and proactive maintenance in line with manufacturers and company policy 
  • Working with Lead Technicians on more complex and extensive repair tasks

Qualifications

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills: 

  • Motivation for the role/automotive and engineering interest
  • A good problem solver
  • Eager to learn
  • Be capable of carrying out instructions accurately and methodically
  • Working as part of a team and independently 

Additional Information:

  • Entry requirements: 16+, Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4-9 or accredited equivalent. Should you not have this you will need to complete Functional Skills
  • 5 times per year the company will support you with travel to Nottingham where you will attend college. Accommodation will be provided during this 4 night stay
