PALS Complaints Officer
Reed Talent Solutions are working in partnership with an NHS CSU, hiring a Complaints Officer to support with an initial 3-month assignment, providing Patient And Liaison Services within the Clinical Quality & Service Improvement Team.
This assignment will be working fully remote which must be carried out from the UK.
As the assignment is performed from home, you provided with the required equipment and will need to have a reliable internet connection and an appropriate environment for completing the assignment.

- Department -
- Pay rate - £14.98 Per hour PAYE
- Location - fully remote (must be working in the UK)
- Duration - 3 months temporary assignment with a view to extend
Knowledge and ExperienceTo deal directly with enquiries and concerns raised by service users, their advocates and the public about services commissioned or provided by us and our customers;
- To act as a facilitator in relation to the concerns of service users, their advocates and the public and to negotiate immediate solutions or resolution of issues
- To 'signpost’ or refer service users, their advocates and the public onto specialist advocacy, voluntary services, ICAS, the Patient and Public Involvement Forums or other public services, as appropriate;
- To support the Complaint Managers in the administration of the complaint process, including updating data capture systems.
- In conjunction with others in the Quality, PALS and complaints team contribute to creation of regular joint reports to appropriate clinical governance meetings and decision boards identifying trends in complaints and incidents recommending appropriate actions and ensuring these have taken place.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of thequality service offer
- Excellent organisation and time management skills coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications and Training
- Customer service experience with demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills in a public facing role, with a particular focus on compassionately and professionally interacting with people who are distressed or agitated.
