Wet Paint Sprayer

• Location: Uttoxeter, ST14.
• Working hours: AM & PM shift's Available - AM: 6am-3:30pm & PM: 3:30pm-1am.
• Working Days: 4 day working week - Monday to Thursday.
• Pay/Salary: Starting between £12.75 - £13.75 (+ 1p/h shift allowance for PM Shift).
• Position: Permanent, Full-Time.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client looking for an experienced Wet Paint Sprayer in the Uttoxeter area. Our client is a leading metal finishing company with over 40 years within the industry providing high-quality finishing to their clients across the UK.

Your main duties will include:

• Preparing various parts/products, including filling & sanding products.
• Mixing & using 2pack polyurethane paints.
• Spraying parts using HVLP pot guns.
• Ensuring that products are stored in the correct bays.
• Checking all materials/products for damage, reporting any defects or faults to your team leader.
• Checking route cards are with the correct parts.
• Ensuring products are packed with protection.
• Working from engineering drawings to make sure all products/parts are processed to a high-quality standard, to the customers specifications.
• Completing general maintenance work on your equipment.
• Make sure all machinery is monitored consistently and to make sure you advise your team leader of any issues that arise.
• Scan route cards for products.
• Complete loading and unloading tasks when required to.
• Make sure all work areas/stations are kept clean & tidy.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience working in wet paint spraying - Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• experience working in engineering/manufacturing background.
• Experience working from engineering drawings.

Due to the location of our clients workshop you must have your own transport - Unfortunately we cannot take applicants who do not have their own transport for this role.
