The Recruitment Co are looking for Paint Sprayers in Rochdale OL16.

Responsibilities:



  • Mix filter paints.

  • Lifts and carries paint and thinners every time paint is mixed.

  • Set up pots and guns.

  • Paints and spatters working samples.

  • Fills in all documentation.

  • Masks.

  • Strips and cleans paint booths.

  • Lifts mouldings in and out of racks and trolleys (normally three times

  • each moulding).

  • Pushes and pulls racks and trolleys to destination (fifteen to twenty

  • times a day).

  • Lifts and cleans metal paint masks.


Experience required:




  • Reading technical, basic writing and conversational speaking skills.

  • Knowledge of the products and the paint finish required.

  • At least 1 year's experience of work within a manufacturing organisation as a Paint Sprayer (plastic manufacturer preferred).

  • Relevant college education/completed Apprenticeship.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Drive to meet targets.

  • Quality orientated.

  • Process and retain information well.

  • Dexterity, accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Communication with the Foreman and colleagues.

  • Any other duties as considered appropriate to this position.

  • Must be flexible in working hours and moving from site to site.


Working hours: Monday - Friday on the rotating shift 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
Pay rate: between £12.71 - £16.20 dependant on paint experience
No shift allowance applicable to this role
Overtime at flat basic rate

All candidates will have to attend a paint spraying test with our Senior Paint Technician.
