We are recruiting for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a wonderful organisation on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Location: Milton & Sanctuary Point - NSW Australia

Hours: Full time or Part time hours available

Salary: $75,000-$100,000 per annum dependent on experience (around £38,700-£51,500)

About the Organisation:

This organisation has been around for a number of years, have an excellent reputation in the local area and work predominantly within the NDIS and also have private clients. This organisation has been providing services to the local community for a number of years. They have a number of experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Music and Art Therapists and other staff who provide services and have and excellent reputation for their work. They have two fantastic centres where they work out of and a strong focus on employee satisfaction and enjoyment. They see people in their centre and also do some work in the community and in the local schools. They also have a number of projects you could become involved with.

About the Area:

Situated around 200km South of Sydney, Milton and Sanctuary Point are located in New South Wales, Australia. Milton, situated inland, is known for its historic buildings, boutique shops and vibrant arts community.

Sanctuary Point, on the other hand, is a costal suburb near Jervis Bay, offering access to beautiful beaches and water activities. Both areas provide a mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences.

Just a stones throw away from Sanctuary Point you will find the stunning Jervis Bay, an ocean bay providing white, sandy beaches for swimming, fishing, kayaking & dolphin/whale watching. Jervis Bay is also one of the few places in Australia where you can witness the incredible natural phenomena known as bioluminescence!

Duties:

  • Provide Occupational Therapy and support services to address the specific needs of the child and maintain a clinical caseload
  • Collaborate, plan and implement interventions and support
  • Work alongside other Allied Health Professionals, support staff and management
  • Work in a variety of settings including the clinic, within the child’s home or in local schools
  • Write reports, provide recommendations and work closely with other organisations
  • Continually evaluate the goals of the child to ensure the support is in line with what the child and family are looking to achieve

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA (not required prior to interview, but preferred)
  • Several years of experience working with Children as an OT
