Role Overview:
As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Specialist Care Team, delivering comprehensive support to children and families both, across various community settings. You will have the opportunity to foster meaningful connections with the children under our care, enriching their lives with laughter, play, and compassionate assistance. Your role will involve providing hands-on care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and advocating for the well-being of our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex medical needs
- Foster a nurturing environment conducive to play, exploration, and emotional expression
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in care planning, assessment, and implementation of individualised care plans
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and inclusion in all interactions with patients and families
- Act as a champion for diversity and equality within the organization
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with experience in paediatric care (Band 5 or Band 6)
- Strong clinical acumen and communication skills
- Compassionate, creative, and committed to making a positive impact
