6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm, 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday

£11.44 - £12 per hour

We are currently seeking skilled Packing Machine Operators to join our clients warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining packing machinery to ensure efficient packaging of their products. As a Packing Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packing machinery to package products according to company standards and guidelines.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on packing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the packing area.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating packing machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed.
