TM Scotland Fife & The Lothian’s branch is very excited to be recruiting on behalf of a new client based in Cowdenbeath that manufactures yoghurt, cottage cheese and ice cream.

Our client is urgently looking to add experienced packers to the weekend team working both Saturday and Sunday (20 hours) - Our client requires Saturday 6am - 7pm and Sunday 7am - 3:30pm.

If you are looking for full time opportunities and have the ability to work every Sat & Sun, you will be considered for a 5/7 rota offering an additional 3 days during the week.

What the role looks like as a Weekend Packer:

• Maintain product quality and hygiene standards
• Visually checking packed dairy products for non-compliances
• Placing packed products onto pallets/cage
• Checking codes on labels after changeovers
• Ensuring despatch remove filled pallets/cages to chills
• Advise line leader of any machine faults or line performance issues
• Good housekeeping - ensuring your surrounding area is clean and tidy at all times
• Maintain product quality and hygiene standards
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements and HR Policies
• Assist the Production Supervisor as and when required and carry out any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective smooth running of Production

What our client requires for you to be considered for the position as a Weekend Packer:

• Experience working within a fast paced production environment
• A reference from a previous employer within the last 2 years
• Ability to work both days Saturday & Sunday (20 hours)
• Applicants with a valid counter balance license would be a massive advantage
• Due to location you must be local or have a driving license
• A good work ethic and with a can do attitude
• A team player who works well under pressure
