P6 Planner - Utilities

Our client is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Primavera P6 Planner to work on utility capital mains projects throughout Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.

Salary to £60k | Company Car or Allowance| Stakeholder Pension | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Essentials:

* As a P6 Planner you will be responsible for working independently in the planning function of utility projects. This will include the production, updating and monitoring of programmes using Primavera P6 under NEC Forms of Contract

* Coordination of input into the programme from the construction team and take the "lead" on programme development

* Ensuring the production of up to date programmes throughout the duration of projects using P6

* Reviewing construction progress with input from the project team and producing reports as necessary

* Highlighting areas of concern in the construction progress and reviewing mitigation measures with the project team; including compensation events, the cause and effect that this will have

* Assisting Project Managers with planning related matters and attending meetings with project teams and clients

* Responsible for collation of progress information & production of progress reporting as required

Requirements:

* You should have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of planning in an Engineering environment

* It is essential that you have good knowledge and use of Primavera P6 planning software and Microsoft Office packages
