An international energy and chemical company are seeking an experienced professional to manage a significant number of external counsels hired for various projects including engagement contracts, structure and optimise the cost by managing the headcount.

Minimum requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years' experience with a law firm or in-house practice that is focused on workforce planning and cost management.

The successful candidate should have a track record in leading projects across talent acquisition, business resourcing, people development, strategy and process improvement.

You will be required to perform the following:

  • Monitoring billing, credit control and managing external legal professional's capacity for the internal team.
  • Ensuring adequate resources are directed to relevant areas of the legal department.
  • Managing work allocation to fee earners and workforce management.
  • Liaising with external law firms and alternative legal services providers regarding staffing and performance management.
  • Implementing new processes for reviewing and onboarding new suppliers to manage PSL.
  • Proficient in utilising CRM systems to manage recruitment workflows and maintaining data integrity and data driven analytics.
