Optical Assistant

A well-established independent Opticians based in Moseley, Birmingham are looking to recruit a full time Optical Assistant to join the team.

This is a well established practice which has gone from strength to strength. It has a long standing reputation in the area for its high levels of patient care and professionalism.

Optical Assistant - Role

• Well established independent Opticians
• High end, modern environment
• Loyal patient base of all ages
• Focus on patient care
• Single/double tests each day
• Working alongside an experienced team including a Dispensing Optician
• Assisting with front of house, reception as well as pre-screening and other optical duties
• Constant investment into training and advanced equipment
• Working 5 days a week including a Saturday 9am to 5.30pm (5pm on a Sat)
• Salary around £21,500 - £23,000

Optical Assistant - Requirements

• Previous experience of working within an Opticians - At least a year
• Willing to learn and develop
• Excellent communications and organisational skills
• Friendly
• Will go above and beyond for the patient
