Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Operations & Transformation Director to join the team.

Location: Portsmouth, UK

Salary: £100,000 to £120,000 per annum basic + competitive package

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Client:

With over 100 years of heritage, our client is a leading player within British manufacturing and have ambitious plans to reach a £70M turnover over the next 3-5 years. They manufacture a range of high value, low volume products for sectors including automotive, aerospace and defence, print and general industry.

Due to their plans for growth, they want to make sure the organisation is operating to best practice across all functions of the business. As such they are looking to bring on board an Operations & Transformation Director who can drive change throughout the business, ensuring that the business is operating as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Operations & Transformation Director – The Role:

This is an exciting new role for the business and will take the lead on all change and transformation activity across the business. It will work closely with the Managing Director and wider senior management team to drive change, implement new processes and systems, and work towards achieving significant growth for the business.

Operations & Transformation Director – Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct a deep dive into the business, reviewing their current business operations and drive improvements across all functions

- Define their operations strategy, providing recommendations on wider business strategy to support growth

- Implement initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency across the business e.g. time to manufacture, sales cycle length

Operations & Transformation Director – You:

- You will have experience working within an engineering or manufacturing organisation

- Strong track record of driving change within an organisation and bringing teams on a journey with you

- Minimum 10 + years in a leadership position

- Experience in business transformation and change
