Location: Exeter, UK
Salary: £11.98 per hour

Duration: Temp on-going, possibility of a permanent contract for the right individual

Job Description:

As a Public & Green Spaces Operator, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of public parks, gardens, and green spaces. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and maintaining flowerbeds
  • Weed control and litter picking
  • Planting and landscaping projects
  • Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of public spaces
  • Assisting with special events and projects as required

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour in various weather conditions
  • Hold a current UK driving license with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or related field an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
