Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 plus excellent benefits
Working Pattern: Full Time Hybrid - 2 days office a week plus remote working

About the Role

A long-established Lloyd’s broker is looking for a Open Market Technician within their North American property team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing documentation including MRC Slips, Certs and Debit Notes
  • Preparing and typing of endorsements, letters and other correspondence
  • Maintaining online filing and archiving systems
  • Entering Data onto the Global system
  • Obtaining Bureau Signings as applicable
  • Processing Premium Bordereaux
  • Chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade
  • Liaising with clients to request information and chasing for outstanding funds
  • Making payments to bureau under terms of trade and reconciling payments
  • Arranging extension to terms of trade
  • Calculating Profit Commissions
  • Dealing with queries from Brokers and clients and escalating issues as appropriate to ensure timely and efficient problem resolution
  • Providing regular feedback to Technical Team Leader regarding ongoing work
  • Group rules and procedures, including maintaining accurate records

Key Skills & Experience

Our client is seeking someone who has experience in the US property markets ideally with experience which includes North American Property within a Lloyds Broker.

The candidate should have a can-do attitude, be personable and a good team player. Someone who is proactive, willingness to learn, diligent, positive and professional.
