Learner Engagement Team Leader

£20,701 to £25,759 p.a. depending on experience and qualifications

Based in Nottingham, may involve some travel to recruitment events across the East Midlands

Background

Our client is a well-established leading training organisation working in and around the East Midlands. We provide a range of employment related training including Full Time Programmes, Apprenticeships, Adult Learning Loans and work experience opportunities for adults and young people from diverse backgrounds, that will enhance individuals' employment potential and qualifications. Main purpose:
  • To ensure learners receive appropriate and adequate information, advice, and guidance about the programme they are undertaking and understand what is expected of them and how and where they can access
  • To improve the success and occupancy of learner numbers across all programmes offered by completing high quality IAG and enrolments and identify new business opportunities with existing employers and referral
  • To challenge all practices and procedures within own role and throughout the organisation and to contribute to and ensure continuous quality
Key responsibilities
  • Carry out timely in month onboarding of learners, liaising with both learner and employer working in an agile and flexing way.
  • Report any issues with onboarding/enrolments promptly and provide weekly updates on caseload to line manager/team.
  • Carry out timely in month enrolments of learners onto their chosen programme ensuring that you undertake thorough IAG to ensure quality and eligibility for funding and the programme, reporting any issues
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with employers to ensure enrolments are timely in month and identify any new
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with referral partners including promoting programmes across all provision to identify new
  • Liaise with line manager to resolve issues around enrolments that you are unable to proceed with due to quality/compliance concerns.
  • Ensure that you keep yourself up to date with any changes that impact quality and compliance, including funding rules and quality measures, sharing with the line manager/team as applicable.
  • Effectively manage diary to ensure IAG and enrolments numbers are maximised in month, each
  • Support the achievement of the overall sales team target by ensuring IAGs and enrolments are submitted for processing timely.

Onboarding Officer Person Specification

Applicants must have:
  • A transferable skill such as recruitment, compliance, or customer
  • Experience of interviewing and guiding a wide range of
  • Knowledge of government funded
  • Experience within a training or education
  • Strong administrative
  • Excellent IT skills (conversant with Microsoft Office and social media).
  • Grade A to D in Maths and English or equivalent.
