We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Ofsted Registered Manager to take on a pioneering role as part of the new Multi-Building Registration Ofsted Policy Guidance. This rare opportunity will allow you to play a key role in shaping the future of the children's residential sector. Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, and with support from an Assistant Manager, you will effectively manage a Multi-Building Registration.
  • Take charge of the leadership, management, and operation of your service, supporting children who stay with us for approximately 4 months.
  • Utilize your positive outlook and ability to see beyond behaviors to work towards the progression and development of the children under your care.
  • Provide operational direction and ensure the effective running of the service to meet its statement of purpose.
  • Mentor and support our residential support workers to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate and work in partnership with external agencies.

Key Qualities:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience managing a Residential Children's Home.
  • Extensive experience managing a team of support workers.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCIF and Children's Home Regulations and Quality standards.
  • Ideally, you have achieved a Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma.
  • Creative and passionate about working with children.
  • Ability to collaborate and support the team to deliver an exceptional service.
  • Possession of a full, valid UK driving license and access to your own transport.
