We are looking to recruit an Office Manager on behalf of our client who are a specialist school near to Wokingham. This is a permanent role working 37 hours a week TERM TIME ONLY plus an additional 4 weeks to start in September 2024.

This is a brand new position due to the school going on a journey of growth, the level of support you provide from an administrative capacity will contribute massively to their success.
The school are looking for a strong "all-rounder" who enjoys supporting a school leadership team as well as the school staff and pupils attending the school.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of general administrative tasks for the Headteacher and Business Manager.
  • Office management including ordering stationery, organising supplies, and overseeing the cleaning contract.
  • Working with highly confidential data.
  • Implementing new administrative procedures when required.
  • Finance administration including general bookkeeping duties when required.
  • Managing, organising, and cleansing of all files
  • First point of call for all incoming telephone calls.

Requirements

  • Experienced in telephone communication.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working proactively with high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Knowledge or understanding of safeguarding.
  • Previous experience within an office management or senior administrative role
  • Computer literate
