Office Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join our client's team. The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the office by proactively overseeing daily operations and coordinating events. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, as well as a background in managing an office or workspace facilities. Working hours are either 9am-2pm or 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Oversee the physical workspace, ensuring it's not only kept clean and tidy, but it is also a positive, safe and welcoming environment in line with the desired employee experience
- Health & Safety compliance within the business, including booking training for First Aiders and Fire Marshalls
- Liaise with cleaners to ensure the office is kept clean and presentable
- Source local contractors to arrange any necessary maintenance of the building
- Organise and communicate all company events such as staff lunches, social events and the Christmas party
- Assist employees in the organisation of volunteer days by liaising with charities
Requirements
- Experience managing office or workspace facilities
- Health & Safety within the workplace experience would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and complete projects within deadlines
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships and actively listen to others
- Self-motivated, confident, and proactive with a friendly and engaging personality
- You will need to be flexible and can put your hand to a variety of office related tasks
