Office Administrator - Part Time

Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

Up to £28,000 FTE

We are recruiting for a key client of ours, a leading accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire, who are seeking an Office Administator to join their team in Huntingdon on a part-time basis.

This part-time role (20 hours per week) is fully office-based, with core hours from 1000 to 1400, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining efficient administrative procedures, supporting staff in delivering service lines and allowing them more time for chargeable client work. The responsibilities include:

  • Managing reception duties, handling post, calls, scanning, and providing refreshments for client meetings.
  • Facilities management, including health & safety oversight, and coordination with maintenance and cleaning contractors.
  • Supervising general office supplies, reordering items as necessary.
  • Handling work planner and deadline spreadsheet amendments and monitoring.
  • Performing system updates on the client contacts database, preparing client create forms, and ensuring electronic verification.
  • Preparation of engagement letters, completing ongoing Anti-Money Laundering review paperwork, and handling various letters and reviews.
  • Dealing with client satisfaction reviews, Companies House filings, and conducting Land Registry searches.
  • Providing company secretarial support, binding hard copy documents, preparing tender documents in PowerPoint, organising group events, and mailshots.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong background in administration, with professional services experience being advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, capable of multitasking and taking the initiative.
  • Complete discretion and confidentiality regarding work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Awareness of GDPR and its application in the workplace.
  • Must possess a full UK driving license and access to own transport for occasional visits to other Ensors locations.
