Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for Specialist Occupational Therapist opportunities with Neuro-rehab experience in the West Midlands, Birmingham region.

The Specialist Occupational Therapist (neurological rehabilitation) would form part of a multidisciplinary team of AHP Specialists working alongside a clinical and neuro-specialist team.

The Specialist Occupational Therapist would have previous experience in a neurological rehabilitation setting and take responsibility for:

  • Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
  • Provide specialist OT interventions for a complex caseload
  • Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area
  • Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required
  • Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues
  • Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases
  • Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place and adhered to
  • Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors, and carers

Requirements:

  • Must have an active HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Obtained a relevant Occupational Therapy Degree
  • At least 1 year or more experience gained as an Occupational Therapist in a neuro-rehabilitation environment
