Occupational Therapist

Role: Occupational Therapist or OT Assistant/Activity Coordinator

Grade: OT

Band: 5

Duration of Vacancy: 12 weeks

Start Date: 25/03/2024

Hours per week: 37.5

Location:

Ealing Day Treatment Centre, Britten Drive, Southall, UB1 2SH.

Job Description:.

To facilitate a variety of therapeutic skills-focused groups and individual interventions as a part of the multi-disciplinary ward programme and to support the OT role

To provide assessment and intervention to individuals, identifying barriers to discharge and supporting individuals to enable optimum functioning throughout their admission and the right level of support when they leave the unit.

This may include the assessment of activities of daily living, the use of standardised assessment tools, and prescribing equipment and making recommendations for future accommodation or care packages.
