Undertaking occupational therapy assessments leading to the identification of the service users needs whilst addressing occupational performance. In addition to planning and implementing individual and group evidence-based interventions, in collaboration with the service users and staff, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.About the hospital

Three wards;
8 bedded female PICU service,
Mens' 14 bed acute/High dependency unit typically for men over the age of 45/50
10 bedded service for older working age/older age women.
Opening a fourth 8 bedded PICU service.
Baldock Manor boasts a full MDT with Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology and Occupational Therapy practitioners on site as well as a very able team of Senior support workers, support works, Therapies assistants and more.
Job responsibilities
To work within the multidisciplinary teams , managing a defined caseload of service users providing core occupational therapy assessments and interventions that enable the services users to work towards recovery, a valued lifestyle and aim for optimum level of functional ability and to oversee and support the provision of the occupational group therapies ensuring these meet the needs of the client groups and, ensuring that the outcomes measures are consistently recorded and routinely reported on.
Person Specification
QualificationsEssential
- Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Documented CPD evidence.
- Any post-graduation training relevant to mental health
