Occupational Therapist Band 6/7 respiratory / critical care

Atlantis Medical have a locum role in for a Band 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist in Respiratory/Critical care in Central London.

The role will require strong neuro rehab skills, discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and a sound clinical understanding of falls, cognitive impairment and common pathology in acute medicine such as COPD, bronchiectasis.

This would also suit an OT with neuro skills as they may need to support with rehabilitation of post ICU step down, prolonged ICU stay and has ICU acquired weakness. The role would suit an OT with interest and experience within these areas.

Essential criteria: HCPC registration and qualified OT status. Neuro- rehab skills, Discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and a sound clinical understanding of different respiratory condition, cognitive impairment and common pathology's related to frailty syndrome.
