Location/remote: Leeds or Leicestershire/Hybrid (1-2 days in the office)

Contract length: 6 months

Pay rate: £200-£300 per day PAYE

Overview

Reporting to the UK Associate Health and Wellbeing Lead, an Occupational Health Manager (OHM) will manage the OH needs of the factories and offices they support. They will manage OH referrals and case work, oversee health surveillance and new start medicals and partner with factory / site leadership to manage long term sickness and local health topics and issues.

Responsibilities:

• OH Case work.

• Functional capability and ill-health retirement assessments (utilising OH Physician if needed).

• Work with site LTs on long term sickness and absence management.

• Work with third parties to deliver other OH services (health surveillance, new starter medicals, physiotherapy etc.).

Key skills:

• Occupational Health qualifications & experience.

• Case work experience.

• Able to be a business partner on OH and Well-being topics with leadership teams.

• Ability to work interdependently (independently AND as part of a team)

• Experience working in a similar industry- isn't essential but would be preferable
