Nursery Teacher

A vibrant and nurturing school based in Reading require a dedicated teacher to provide high-quality early years education for children aged 2-5 years.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, creating a safe and supportive environment, and promoting the holistic development for the nursery children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons and activities that cater to the individual needs and interests of nursery children.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, secure, and motivated to learn.
  • Develop and implement a play-based curriculum that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to share information, gather feedback, and support children's learning and well-being.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and educational standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Educator is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
