Nursery Room Team Leader

A well-established and experienced Ofsted rated ‘Good’ team based in Didcot is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Nursery Room Leader (minimum qualification level 3 or equivalent) with the potential for an opportunity to take a step into the management team if desired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and coach your room team to ensure high standards of care learning and development for the children in the room.
  • Plan for individual children using the EYFS development matters to provide learning opportunities and teachable moments. Ensuring continuous provision and opportunities to stretch and challenge the children
  • Work in partnership with parents as a key person
  • Manage the team effectively to maintain the safety and well being of the children, meeting legal ratios at all times
  • Be a role model to all staff through policy and practice at all times

The successful candidate must be dedicated to coaching and supporting their room team to provide fun and stimulating activities for the children, ensuring learning and development is continued at a high level, and putting the children first.
