Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Wednesday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Salary: £11.44 per hour

About Our Nursery:

Our newly opened private nursery, ME Montessori Play School is located at the heart of Bedgrove Community Centre is thrilled to invite applications for the role of a Nursery Practitioner. We cater to children aged 10 months to 5 years, delivering a high-quality educational experience by combining Montessori Principles with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Our nursery is a nurturing environment that functions as a home away from home for the children and carers alike. With a culture that emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere, work-life balance, and professional growth, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional level of education and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement educational programs that integrate Montessori and EYFS principles, fostering a stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitor and document children's progress and development through observational assessments.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued.
  • Engage with children in activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the development of each child.
  • Maintain compliance with nursery policies and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous.
  • Passionate about working with young children and committed to their development and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with children, parents, and staff.
