Your new company The University of Birmingham are currently looking for level 3 qualified practitioners to work at 3 of their fantastic nurseries across south Birmingham. These nurseries include The Oaks, The Elms and The Maples Day. All 3 nurseries have brilliant staff feedback and are very well established. The nurseries offer so much more than just childcare, they provide a safe, nurturing, and caring environment where young children can thrive. They have a forest school, a sensory room and they hold Millie's Mark 2017, so all of their staff members are paediatric first aid trained.
Your new role
The nursery is currently looking for qualified early years practitioners, this must be in either level 3 or level 2 childcare or early years, we cannot accept any other qualifications. This role is based on shift pattern, allowing flexibility around your other day to day responsibilities, with guaranteed shifts weekly. You will be required to work across different rooms from babies to preschool, you must be open to personal care (nappy changing) and having a first aid qualification is also a bonus.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you must be a confident and positive individual, who is easily able to adapt to a new setting and integrate into a new team. You must be able to try new things, build relationships with both staff and the children. You must be a level 3 or level 2 qualified in childcare or early years and must be able to support with personal care. We would also require you to have completed at least 6 months of experience.
