Ten90 are currently recruiting for L3 early years practitioners in Hackney to join an Ofsted rated outstanding Children's Centre.

The Children's Centre is in the London Borough of Hackney, well known in the local area & recognised by Ofsted. They are looking for a L3 Nursery Practitioner to join their growing team.

The duties of the role include

  • To implement planned programmes of activities in line with the Early Years curriculum
  • To ensure each child has the opportunity to develop to their full potential in their early stages.
  • To provide a range of educational and developmental opportunities for children aged 0 to 5.
  • To develop good relationships with parents and carers to ensure that planning for their children is in partnership with them.
  • To promote and maintain a culturally sensitive environment
  • To assist in the Early Years Child Protection Procedures for identifying and monitoring children in need of protection.
  • To ensure and maintain high professional standards of hygiene

Required skills and qualifications

  • L3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a childcare environment
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation
  • Ability to build good relationships with children & parents/carers
