Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a quality day nursery, who are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their setting based near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well as part of a team, be dependable and reliable, and also have good attendance.

Essential Criteria

• Qualifications. Must have a Full and Relevant Level 3 Qualification as set out in EYFS/Early Years Qualification
• Relevant Childcare Experience - at least 1 year relevant and recent experience, preferably in a day care nursery
• NB Enhanced CRB check and satisfactory reference from the current

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in your care and all children within the nursery
• Acting as an Early Years Practitioner/Educator and carrying out all tasks normally associated with that role, reporting to the Room Leader/Nursery management as appropriate.
• General day-to-day childcare duties, including carrying out personal care duties for children
• Implementing, complying with and reviewing the nursery’s policies and procedure
• Implementing all areas of the EYFS, including planning indoors/outdoors environments, planning activities, outings, curriculum planning and delivery, acting as a key person for specified childre
• General duties including attending meetings with the Owner/Manager, attending parents’ evenings and staff meeting
• You will be responsible for general housekeeping, tidying and cleaning duties
• Complying with all implied duties as an employee and the nurseries Code of Practice
