Randstad is on the lookout for a room leader to join our client's setting in Leeds. We are looking for a confident Level 3 qualified individual looking for their next step in their career. Qualities to have include being proactive and creative in incorporating the EYFS framework into children's routines and activities. Whilst with us you can expect our experienced consultants to provide ongoing support, addressing queries and offering guidance every step of the way.

The nursery is looking for someone who is available for work 8-6pm for 4 days per week within Leeds. We're seeking individuals who can create an inviting and dynamic environment, ensuring each day is unique.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan creative, age-appropriate activities to support individual children's development
  • Conduct observations to document each child's progress
  • Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Safeguard children and maintain accurate records of their progression

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency in the EYFS curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK



Desired (but not essential):

Safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, and health and safety training
