Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Casual Nursery Nurse to join our team in Derby. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. You will work alongside experienced educators to support the learning and development of young children, helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities and experiences that promote learning and development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where children feel supported and valued.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of all children in your care.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
